My Name is Wayne Beasley I live a Haigslea QLD, one hour west of Brisbane with my wife Miranda and son Lane.  We have run Charaway Arabian breeding and training centre for 35 years.  I am a self employed Electrical Contractor by trade and run our own business.
We have three purebred Arabian stallions and seventeen mares on our property including Arabian Riding Ponies & Arabian Ponies. I started out as a crazy young boy that just loved horses, I would save my money and buy from our local store a magazine called Hoof and Horns and read all about the horses. In one of the books I fell in love with a centre page poster, it was the beautiful Arabian stallion, Ralvon Pilgrim. I had that poster on my wall beside my bed when I was about 10 years of age.  My parents brought my first pony when I was 12 years old and we were told that she was a part Arabian. She was my beginning. At the age of 15 I had the opportunity to help at the cattle station called Stone house where they had a partbred Arabian gelding which I rode mustering, he was an amazing sure footed athletic horse. I then started work and purchased my own partbred mare and my journey began. Attending the Gatton Arabian Sales every year I purchased my first Purebred mare, she was by Chip Chase Meccali. My friendship With Barbara & Ross of Sangria Stud gave me the start in my breeding program. My Father always supporting me along the way, purchased from The University of Brisbane the Arabian Stallion Wollongbar Romulus, a stallion that had won in the show ring in halter, saddle and harness.
After meeting a young trainer Richard Sharman, who took Romulus back to Bell at Jangharm Stud and worked on preparing him for the halter ring again, and spending time with Richard and learning, my interest in showing Arabian horses grew. I still to this day love running into the ring and showing horses.  I also enjoy watching my wife compete and mentoring my young Son in the halter ring, where he has enjoyed success for the last 4 years.
My career has allowed me to show and train some amazing horses which have achieved great success, more than a young boy ever dreamed of, including competing in Harness, Working Stock horse, Racing, Endurance and Campdrafting. This has given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people from all over Australia and the world that share my passion and be great friends with.  I have been a member of the Arabian Valley  Horse Club Inc., Arabian Horse Association of Qld Inc. and the Pan Pacific Arabian Club Inc., and I have done terms as President of all.  My focus now, is to help show people why the Arabian horse is such a great versatile animal like I grew up idolising, Helping the Youth in mentoring, training and showing so they can achieve the dreams like I have. My aims in our own breeding and promotion of the Arabian horse is to highlight that the purebred is a truly versatile horse. After 35 years of owning, breeding and showing Arabian horses I feel it is time for me to give back to this amazing industry that has given me so much pleasure.
